Welcome to BILLY'S BLACKSMITH SHOP home of WATSON KNIVES I began making knives back in 1972. In 1989 I retired from the Montgomery Fire Department and started making knives full time. My earlier knives were given to friends and co-workers. They were made from old saw blades, later I practiced my craft through forged steel, cable steel and finally the ultimate medium, Damascus steel. Most of the knives you will see on this site are already sold. While I cannot make an exact copy of these knives, I can make one similar or work with you on your design. I only make carbon steel knives using wood or natural material for handles. All my knives come with a sheath. My prices are kept within reach of the average man; offering good quality for a fair price. Pricing may have to be adjusted due to increases in the cost of steel, supplies and shipping from my suppliers. Profit is not the motive for any increases... it is strictly to cover my expenses.
